Black Girl Resists

Created in partnership with ActionAid UK and written by Megha Kashyap, this comic tells the powerful story of Nora, a young working‑class woman standing strong against gender-based violence, unpaid care work, and economic inequality in a fictional African community

Through striking visuals and narrative storytelling, I brought Nora’s journey to life, highlighting how systemic barriers intersect with everyday resilience. This comic translates research into a relatable, accessible form that sparks awareness and solidarity during ActionAid’s economic justice campaign.

This project reflects my feminist visual storytelling approach- making complex social issues real, relatable, and rooted in collective care.
