Zines - Girls Rise Up!

I co-created five youth-led zines with Girls Rise Up UK, working closely with young girl leaders to explore themes such as feminism, gender-based violence, and meaningful youth engagement.

As part of the process, I facilitated visual storytelling and digital collage workshops, inviting the girls to reflect, express, and create using their own words and images. The zines became powerful tools for advocacy, designed for use in schools, community groups, and local councils.

This was a deeply participatory project shaped by the voices, ideas, and creativity of the girls themselves. It reflects my commitment to collaborative art-making, where illustration becomes a space for dialogue, connection, and shared authorship.
